How to Get Started
Getting Started
Beginning the recovery process can feel overwhelming, but joining the Healing Arts for Recovery program is designed to be simple, supportive, and respectful of where you are in your journey. Our team will guide you through each step so you understand how the program works and how it can support your recovery goals.
Whether you are newly sober or experiencing a relapse, our goal is to help you access creative therapy and recovery resources without unnecessary barriers.
Simple Steps to Join
Talk to Us
Start by speaking with a Program Administrator. This conversation allows us to answer your questions, explain the program, and determine if the program is a good fit for your needs. Any and all questions are welcome!
Apply
Complete a short and confidential application. This helps us understand your situation, recovery goals, and eligibility for program support. Our Program Administrator can assist you every step of the way with your application and the application process. They will be your advocate during the entire process.
Choose Your Providers
Participants select their own therapists and recovery services. We provide a neutral provider directory of affordable art and music therapists who specialize in addiction and scheduling assistance, but all treatment choices remain with the participant.
- Orientation
If accepted into the program, you’ll attend a brief orientation with either a Program Administrator or one of our internal social workers. During this session we explain how the program works, review participation expectations, and answer any remaining questions.
Begin the Program
Once enrolled, you can begin participating in art or music therapy sessions, case management, and NA/AA support groups regularly.
Monthly Recovery Bonuses and Treatment Stipends
As you engage in the program and maintain verified sobriety, you will receive structured support via Treatment Stipends and direct cash incentives linked to sobriety via Recovery Bonuses. Both are designed to reinforce your recovery progress.
